This meeting will include the swearing-in of 2026 officers and board members, association updates, and discussion of current fire prevention topics impacting North Texas.
As part of the meeting, we will welcome Darin Niederhaus, Senior Manager of Safety & Security for the FIFA World Cup 2026, for a special discussion on preparedness and fire & life safety considerations as this global event comes to our region.

Residential Sprinkler Plans Review
January 21 & 22, 2025 | 8:00AM - 4:00PM | Frisco, TX
In partnership with TEEX and the National Fire Academy, we will be hosting a two-day (12.5-hour) course that equips fire inspectors, fire marshals, and building code officials with the skills to review and approve residential sprinkler system plans in accordance with NFPA 13, 13D, 13R, and IRC P2904.
Participants will learn to interpret design documents, verify compliance with national standards, and evaluate system components, hydraulic calculations, and prescriptive design worksheets. No prerequisites; one year of relevant experience recommended.
