The Fire Prevention Association of North Texas will host its upcoming monthly Association Meeting, bringing together members to conduct association business, share updates, and engage in professional discussion on timely fire prevention and life safety issues.

As part of this meeting, FPANT will feature two special guest presentations:

Featured Topic: IFC 2024 Recommended NCTCOG Amendments
 

We will welcome Ariana Kistner, Fire Marshal for the City of Rockwall and member of the NCTCOG Amendment Board, who will provide an overview of the recommended amendments to the 2024 International Fire Code (IFC) from the most recent North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) session.

Her presentation will offer regional insight into proposed code changes, the intent behind key recommendations, and how these amendments may impact fire prevention practices across North Texas jurisdictions.

 

Special Guest Presentation: National Fire Safety Council

We will also welcome Ann Denton with the National Fire Safety Council (NFSC), who will share an overview of the organization and highlight the valuable resources, programs, and support available to local fire departments.
