📅 Date: Wednesday, June 10, 2026
Time: 11:30am - 1:00pm
📍 Location: Carrollton, Texas

As a part of our monthly association meeting we will have an important discussion on the impact of Texas HB2488 and what the new legislation means for fire inspections of food trucks across North Texas. This session will provide an overview of the current law, clarify how it affects local AHJ responsibilities, and discuss what changes fire prevention personnel may see moving forward.

In addition to the legislative update, we’ll also review common fire code requirements related to food trucks and share best practices for coordinating inspections and enforcement efforts alongside other city departments such as health, permitting, building inspections, and code enforcement. This meeting is designed to help create consistency, improve collaboration, and support a safer operating environment for both vendors and the communities we serve.
