The Fire Prevention Association of North Texas (FPANT) is proud to host the 2026 Fire Prevention Conference, three days dedicated to strengthening the foundation of fire prevention across inspections, investigations, and public education. Our mission is simple: to empower fire prevention professionals by providing education, resources, and support, fostering a unified approach to fire codes and standards, and building meaningful relationships with the public to promote fire safety and prevention. As fire prevention divisions grow larger than ever, we’ve seen a striking trend: nearly half of those serving in prevention roles today across Texas have less than five years of experience. At the same time, our members have been asking, even pleading, for courses that return to the basics. This conference was built to meet that need with top-tier training, experienced instructors, and a practical focus designed to elevate both new and seasoned professionals.
